Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 1108

In no time, Andre walked in, pointing at his little guy and casually saying to Annie, "Conner sent me. If you find him too much to handle, just take him to Cedillo Inc." The receptionist recognized Henry from the Cedillo family, and by giving him a hug and a little cheek pinch, they could glide right up to his dad's office. Of course, only with Henry's mom's clout could they actually get into his dad's office.

Annie was caught off guard. Conner really sent her sweetie over!

Andre left his son and Henry's little bag behind, turning to head out.

Henry stood there, adorable and a bit confused, staring at a room full of strangers, and then the waterworks started.

Daddy didn't want him anymore!

Annie quickly scooped up the long-missed Henry. "Wow, sweetie, it's been ages! You've grown so much!"

Out of nowhere, Easton had a mischievous idea and chuckled, "Hey, someone should go next door and give Officer Chad a little scare again." He couldn't help but find it funny that every time the "police station regular" showed up, Chad would be on edge.

And everyone knew that among those "regulars" was little one-year-old Henry.

Sure enough, Chad rushed over, a bit flustered. "Who's causing trouble this time?"

Seeing family, Henry, still teary-eyed, wriggled free from his godmother's arms, reaching out to be held by his uncle.

Chad, now holding his chubby little nephew, bombarded him with questions, "Where's your mom, your aunt, your brother, your sister?" Especially concerned about his aunt who was home on maternity leave!

Henry wailed, feeling wronged that everyone else stayed back, and he'd been sent alone, "Daddy!"

Easton laughed, trying to reassure him, "Officer Chad, don't worry. Today, it's just your little nephew. No trouble at all, Andre brought him over."

Annie felt a bit sheepish, "Conner knew I missed the little guy, so he had Andre bring him here." And since she was staying at the police dorms, this was the best spot to meet. noveldrama

Chad realized he'd been pranked by his friend and warned Easton, "Don't get too cocky, or you'll jinx yourself."

Easton quickly wiped the grin off his face, realizing it was no joke.

Later on, even his uncle put him down, and Henry sulkily found himself back in his godmother's arms.

He couldn't quite place who she was until Annie handed him a lollipop... Oh, that jogged his memory a bit.

And so, Henry's day of fun kicked off again.

During a break, Mia, worried about her little rascal, called Annie, "Annie, how's my son doing? Is he still being a good boy?"

"Well, he hasn't cried me all the way to the police station," Annie joked. "We're on a kiddie ride at the

children's amusement park right et

now. Hang on, Mia, lemme poplin another coin, the ride's stopped."

Mia laughed, "My son is really living the good life, having more fun with anyone

else than with me, his mom."

Henry happily spun the kiddie ride's steering wheel, watching the car rock back and forth, completely in his element.

In the afternoon, Mia and Jamie wrapped things up and left a bit early.

She headed over to the spot Annie mentioned and saw her little guy

"Henry, your mom's here," Mia called out to her bundle of joy.

Hearing his mom's voice, Henry paused mid-climb. He glanced around, and spotting his mom, he slid down the slope with excitement, launching himself into her arms.
