Chapter 0304
VLADIMIR
"Do you really trust them?" Bradley asks. Kenny is hiding from the sun in the basement.
"I wasn't sure I would be able to when I first made these plans. But meeting having met them, then yes, I do." I answer honestly.
"They do seem honorable and trustworthy." He admits.
"I think they are, and I don't think the king would have shown us the new chamber
if he didn't take a chance and trust us. He told us how to do it even if we could not open it. And it wouldn't be hard to retrieve a finger. That, in my eyes, shows he wants to trust us, which makes me trust him. None of us want that rouge to make mixed breeds by force." I say and look at him.
"No, we don't," Bradley says.
"I don't expect you to become friends with them or even to trust them the way I do. But I expect you to follow my order and to be respectful so we will be working together." I say, and Bradley bows his head.
"I will, sir, promise." He says, just as a knock sounds on the door. And I stand up to open it.
"Sir." Bradley starts but I stop him.
"Sit back down," I answer, go to the door, and open it.
A woman we have not met before stands outside, but out of the aura coming from her, I know that this must be the queen.
"Hello, Your Highness." I greet her respectfully.
"Hello, My mate told me you are here until nightfall, as one of your companions can't handle the sun. The day in this area can be long, so I have prepared some food for you all. Some red meat. And I got a blood bag for each of you." She says, as a smaller wolf, a man offered me a tray.
"That is very generous and not expected. But we thank you." I tell her as I take the tray.
"I assure you no one has touched the food." She says, and even if she says it like this, I know what she really wants to say is that it is not poisoned.noveldrama
"Thank you. It didn't even cross my mind, and I am just happy that your mate is willing to work with us," I say, and she smiles. She is a marvelous woman, and it's no wonder that everyone knows about her in the supernatural world.
"If you need anything, use the phone and call this number." She says, giving me a piece of paper.
"We will, but I am sure we will be fine. Thank you." I say, and she bows her head before turning around and leaves.
The meat was good, but the blood bags were the best for us. And I can see that Bradley begins to relax. And I know he can see what I do, allies. And maybe they can help to save his daughter.
NOAH
Madeleine was resting with her head on my chest after I, just a countless of times, had made her come. It was nice for a second to forget everything else going on, but I also knew couldn't really forget. I looked at the watch and saw it was going to be sundown soon, and I had promised Dad to come and see off the vampires.
"I need to get ready," I tell her, and she sits up.
"Do you want me to come?" She asks.
"No, you rest, and you and I will have dinner together tonight, just you and me," I
tell her. I kiss her, and she smiles at me.
"I would love that." She answers.
I shower quickly and get dressed before I go towards the house the vampires have been in all day. When I get there, their car is ready, and I see them coming out of the home along with Dad.
"Sorry, I am late," I say as I rush there.
"Oh, don't worry, you are not late," Dad says, and he and the vampires chuckle.
"Vladimir, I would like to thank you again. For the personal journal, you gave me as well." I say, and Vladimir smiles.
"You are very welcome, young king," Vladimir answers.
"I will drive with you to the borders. Make sure you drive out without anyone causing you problems." I tell them as they begin to enter the car. But before Vladimir gets in, he turns to Dad.
"I am very grateful and hopeful for the future and that you agreed to
talk with us. I look forward to
working with you. And be kind and thank the queen for providing with food." He says, and Dad smiles.
"So do we. And I will," Dad says. And I get in the car with the three vampires.

As we drive through the town, it is quiet in the car, but that is fine with me as I am more focused on them out safely. When we drive outside the borders, the one driving stops the car, and we get
out

"Until we see each other again," I say and reach my hand out.
"Until next time," Vladimir says and takes my hand.
I watch them get into the car and start to drive away, and I cannot help but wonder
about if we can really trust them even if it has been years since the open war between our races ended.
What do you think?
