"Now tell us everything," Dad says.

"One of my hunters was approached by a rouge wolf. And he told him his leader wanted to talk with me. So I met him, and I did not like his plans. He wants to make hybrids from those in each supernatural race that have special powers. Blessed wolves, witches with extraordinary magical powers, elves and vampires gifts." Vladimir says. I feel Madeleine gets uncomfortable with this news.

"Who is this wolf?" Dad asks.

"He calls himself King Maximus, king of the rouges. I heard some wolves say he was an Alpha once, and his size, well he is bigger than others." Vladimir says, and Dad nods his head.

"Did he ever mention any specific by name that he wanted for this insane project?" Dad asks, and Vladimir looks at Madeleine.

"Hell No, that will be over my dead body," I growl.

"He had a list, with races and names. But I didn't get to see it properly.

"I do not want to be rude, but how can he breed a Vampire? Are not technically..." Madeleine asks and blushes.

"Dead? Not all vampires have been bitten to become vampires. Some were born with it." Vladimir tells her and smiles.

"Oh, I'm so sorry," Madeleine says, but Vladimir just shakes his head.

"Don't be my child. It is all just fine." Vladimir assured her. And then he stands up.

"As you know, vampires are not always the best friends with other races. I try to keep us in peace, but it doesn't always happen. I know that you, my King, and your Beta went to the Dark Forest Pack. To retrieve documents and books about wolves with powers. So here is my token to prove I want to work with you." Vladimir says and stands up, and walks over to the boxes.

"More books, and scrolls, mainly about powers between vampires, but same from other faces too. I did not collect these, nor have I read them, but I felt as if you were getting some here. That maybe you had a plan to keep them safe. Seeing it is actually a wolf that is trying to start a war." Vladimir says and gives Dad a book.

"I appreciate your trust in us to keep these safe, and yes, I do have a safe place for them," Dad says and, standing up in front of Vladimir and reaching his hand out.

"We will work with those of you who wish for this war to end before it starts. And we will come to your aid should you need it." Dad promises.

"It will be an honor to work alongside this Royal family. And we will come to if needed." Vladimir says, taking Dad's hand to seal their promises.

Dad had been busy. He told us all to follow him, and we went into the basement. Is there a protection bunker in each of these houses But I didn't know Dad had done more to them.

He pushed a hidden button inside the bunker and explained it was secured with fingerprints. It cannot be pushed if it doesn't recognize the fingerprint. Behind the door was a tunnel, and it led to a large room I had never seen before.

"This is completely new and not on any drawings you can find. I burned the drawings when it was done. And Greta removed the memory of

having built this on the wolves, which helped, with their consent, of to here,

course. And there is a, lnoveldrama

from each of these main houses." Dad tells us.

"This is very well hidden. Well done, Your Highness." Vladimir tells him.

And we put the boxes the vampires had with them on a table. And I saw there was

one box on dedicated to powers among wolves. It makes me think that there are so many things we don't know still. And all this will help that.

When we got upstairs, Vladimir stepped out of the basement and into the sun, which was a reflection of the sunrise. I moved to cover it but saw that it didn't affect him one bit, and I was a bit shocked. But I

also realized that we had been

talking all night.

"I'm born this way so the sun doesn't hurt me. It's uncomfortable. But it won't kill me. But one of my men is a bitten vampire, and the sun will kill him." Vladimir explains.

"He can stay in the basement until sunset, so he is safe. And you and your other traveling companion can stay here in this house," Dad says, and Vladimir bows his head in respect.

"Thank you." He says.

Madeleine and I are about to leave when Vladimir says my name. And I turn back to look at him.

"This is a diary/journal that one of

the true kings before you wrote in. The old vampire king must have taken them after he killed him. I think you personally should have it. Maybe it can help you with this big responsibility." Vladimir says, and I take the book. Carefully look at it, knowing I have something precious in my hands.

“Thank you. I appreciate it more than you know.” I say and bow my head in respect.

Madeleine and I left the house to go home to shower and rest. Madeline showered with me, and afterward, we went to bed, where we just lay in each other's arms, resting and getting a little sleep.
