Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 1117

Mia wandered past another stall selling graduation gowns and squatted down to buy three. "We've got responsibilities on our shoulders now. I picked up three gowns so that when the defense is done and it's time for the graduation photos, we can get them taken together."

"What's Leo been up to lately? He seems all mysterious," Molly asked.

Mia shook her head. "You'll have to ask Anya about that. Anya's sticking around this summer to get her driver's license. I heard Leo signed her up for an advanced English course too, and she wasn't too happy about it a few days ago."

Molly chuckled. "Looks like Leo's in for an interesting time."noveldrama

On their way to their advisor's office, Mia joked, "Speak of the devil, and he shall appear."

Leo glanced at the gowns in their hands. "Which one's mine?"

Mia teased, "In your dreams, who said we picked one up for you?"

Leo grabbed the men's gown, "Yeah right, as if I wasn't counting on you two to get one for me."

With the gown tucked under his arm, he said, "Give me a heads-up when we're doing the graduation photos, I'm out of here."

The trio then headed off to submit their theses and check the plagiarism reports.

On defense day, all three, having the same advisor, were in the same classroom. Leo arrived first, then Mia, and Molly showed up last.

Chad, looking stressed, rubbed his temples while Molly, in the passenger seat, casually said, "Oh Chad, this might be your last time driving me. Make the most of it; you won't get another chance."

Officer Chad asked, "You're here for your defense, why'd you bring him along?"

Molly glanced down at the baby in her arms, "Moral support."

Officer Chad: "..."

In the parking lot, little Wayne, who was there to give his mom some courage, was handed over to his dad. Coincidentally, they ran into Andre, who also had a baby in his arms.

"Uncle, great-uncle, aw, the babies!"

No need to ask, they instantly knew who that cheerful voice belonged to.

In the defense classroom, the trio sat together, with the two women both excited and nervous. In their excitement, they decided to rope their younger cousin into a group selfie!

Leo, stuck between the two women, protested, "No way, I'm not taking it. Can't you two act more like adults? You're both married. How am &

supposed to explain this to my girl?"

Mia, under the table, gave a soft punch to Leo's left leg; Molly poked his right leg

with her pen. "Taking it?" the expressionless aunt asked.

The deathly smile from his aunt made Leo gulp, "Alright... let's take it."

So, in the next moment, the sweet Mia and the stunning Molly posed for the

photo, with Leo awkwardly smiling in the middle.

When it was time for the formal defense, the two sat properly. "Student number 6, is Leo present?"

Leo, limping slightly, stood up.

The sisters whispered to each other, "Mia, that punch was yours, wasn't it?"

Passing the blame with a smile, "No way, I haven't practiced in a while. It must've been your poke."

Molly replied, "That can't be, I barely used any force."

Mia added, "Same here. Must be Leo, not staying active and getting leg cramps from sitting too long."

"Right! That's got to be it."

"Cough, cough," Leo, standing at the defense podium, reminded the sisters to focus on the defense.

On campus, the search for Henry's mom continued.

"Is Mia here, number 10?"

After Leo finished his defense, he sat at the very back. He wanted to make sure the sisters wrapped up their defenses before he could leave with peace of mind.

Mia took a deep breath, stood up, and said, "Present."

Standing at the podium, she took the microphone, beginning her defense with a pounding heart.
