Chapter 903
Chapter 903:
Subject 001noveldrama
The moment the words left his lips, Jareth darted toward Allison with the swiftness of an arrow.
“Go to hell!” he shouted, his voice sharp with determination.
His resolve was unwavering; he fought as if his life depended on it.
When he drove the dagger forward, he poured every ounce of strength into the strike. The speed was incredible — too fast for anyone to escape. Yet, to his shock, Allison didn’t flinch or move. She remained perfectly still, as if frozen in place.
“Jareth, you’re the one rushing toward death,” she said, her voice cold and steady. To her, his attack seemed sluggish. It was no surprise, though; Jareth had already taken a beating in his earlier clash with Gordon.
With a sickening crack, Allison wrenched his wrist, snapping it with a sound that made the air feel heavier. In an instant, she slammed her knee into his stomach with brutal force.
“I don’t have time to deal with you,” she said, her voice flat and cold.
Jareth barely understood what had happened. Allison’s move had been too fast for him to follow.
In the blink of an eye, he was on his knees, blood streaming from his mouth. His face twisted in pain and stubborn defiance.
“You… you really are that assassin,” he managed to say, his voice weak and shaking.
A low groan escaped him as his body quivered, wracked with agony. He had believed his powerful attack would leave her badly wounded. But now he saw the truth — her strength was far beyond his.
Allison’s abilities were as deadly as Verruckt’s, if not more so.
“Even if we lose, Mr. Shaw has the potion to strengthen himself. He’ll take out a traitor like you!” Before he could say another word, her foot connected with his chest in a swift, punishing kick.
Blood spilled from Jareth’s mouth in a violent gush.
He crumpled to the ground, his fading vision filled with Allison’s emotionless face, glowing in the flickering light of the fire.
She reminded him of Verruckt — a true monster. Before he could fully grasp the weight of his realization, his life slipped away.
“You may as well wait for him in hell. He’ll soon join you,” Allison said, her voice as cold as ice. Her eyes briefly scanned his lifeless body. She felt no sympathy for him.
Once she finished with Jareth, Allison quickly turned her focus back to the bomb.
Within three minutes, Verruckt’s reinforcements arrived. Allison gave them a quick glance and counted at least fifty armed men. Their chilling presence seemed to choke the air.
Verruckt shouted an order. “Open fire! Take them down!” The well-trained gunmen, dressed in black, immediately raised their weapons and took aim at Allison and her team.
