Secrets Of The Neglected Wife

Chapter 902

Chapter 902:

“Yes,” Gordon answered, standing back-to-back with her. “They’re in the car. I’ll grab them.”

Allison quickly looked toward the distant street. “Good, hurry.”

If Verruckt’s reinforcements showed up before the firefighters or reporters, they wouldn’t make it out alive. She needed those explosives to prevent that from happening.

“I’m on it,” Gordon said, racing toward the car.

The bombs had originally been meant for Bill, but now they would be used against Verruckt and his men.

Before long, Gordon came back with the explosives.

“Good job. Buy me some time,” Allison ordered.

“Got it,” Gordon replied, opening fire to clear a path for her. Allison immediately focused on the bomb. It was a custom-made device—one she knew inside and out.

She briefly glanced at Kellan and Verruckt.

Neither man was backing down; their brutal punches landed one after another. The horrifying sound of bone smashing into flesh was more terrifying than any weapon.noveldrama

But Kellan couldn’t hold on much longer. Verruckt’s monstrous strength was starting to wear him down.

Staring at the bomb in her hands, Allison muttered, “Hope this does the trick.”

The bomb was powerful—far too dangerous for close-range use.

She quickly got to work, making rapid adjustments.

With special gloves on, she expertly removed the cover and began reworking the wiring and explosive placement.

But just as she was getting into it, Jareth appeared again. “Alice, you traitor! You’ve turned on Mr. Shaw! You’ve got to pay the price!”

He wasn’t armed with a gun anymore but held a curved kukri knife, stalking toward her with deadly intent.

“You’ve got it wrong. I’m Allison, not Alice,” she shot back, kicking him to the ground before stepping back a few paces, still holding the bomb.

“Jareth, you should know that if you don’t leave now, even without us stopping you, once the military gets here, you won’t have anywhere to run.”

Verruckt had made too many enemies over the years.

Everyone was just waiting for him to fall.

“Leave? I’ve got nowhere to go!” Jareth sneered, wiping blood from his lips.

He had worked for Verruckt for years, and if Verruckt died, he’d be trapped too.

Jareth’s eyes burned with rage. “Who would’ve thought you’d trick us so completely?” he spat, his words laced with hatred.

Allison’s gaze hardened. “So, you’re going to fight me now?”

Jareth smirked. “If I’m going down, I’m taking you with me.”
