Reborn From Oblivion

Chapter 676

The car zipped towards Central Hospital at breakneck speed.

Inside, Miranda was like a stuck record, endlessly repeating, "You're just like your mother, a hopeless romantic, throwing away your relationship with your sister over some guy. Is it really worth it?"

"Being a hopeless romantic never ends well. Your mother learned that the hard way. If you don't change, you'll end up just like her, with a miserable fate."

Nathalie's face was ashen, devoid of color.

Beside her, Lizzy was seething, and she turned around to snap at Miranda, "Just shut it. My sister is beautiful and kind, and there are loads of people who adore her. It's only your spiteful daughter who'll come to a bad end."

Miranda's jaw dropped in shock.

What had she said wrong? Why had Nathalie and her little one suddenly turned so hostile?

As the car pulled up at Central Hospital, Nathalie got out gracefully, pausing to fix her appearance and touch up her weary face, completely ignoring Miranda.

Miranda awkwardly waited in the car, calling out for help, "Nathalie, can you give me a hand getting out?"

Nathalie turned her head away, completely ignoring her.

Lizzy stood there, arms crossed, watching with a smug look. "You managed to wheel yourself from Dawson Estate to your sister's place. Getting out of the car should be easy for you. Come on, out you go."

Miranda fumed and complained to Nathalie, "Nathalie, look at how your kid is behaving. Doesn't she know to respect her elders?"

Nathalie replied coldly, "Lizzy knows how to respect worthy elders and love bright young ones. But not someone like you, who doesn't deserve the respect."

Miranda went pale, looking at Nathalie incredulously, "Heartless? Not deserving? Is that really how you see me?"

Nathalie answered, "You'll find out soon enough."

With a glance from Nathalie, Lizzy yanked Miranda's wheelchair out of the car The jolt almost sent Miranda

flying out, leaving her shaken. To

Nathalie, unfazed, turned on her heel and walked towards the hospital entrance with elegance.

Lizzy, her face set in a stern expression, pushed Miranda, following Nathalie inside.

Miranda looked around, bewildered, "Nathalie, why are we at the hospital?"

Nathalie couldn't even be bothered to respond.noveldrama

It was Lizzy, with an exasperated

tone, who said, "Didn't my sister just explain? She's bringing you here to

see if you're really the heartless

person you seem to be."

Miranda was furious, shouting, "Nathalie, I'm your mother. How can you let her treat me like this?"

Nathalie finally turned back, "If it's just an insult, you're getting off easy."

Miranda's face turned ashen with shock.

Even if she had been oblivious before, Miranda realized now that this Nathalie was not the one she used to know.

The old Nathalie might have had her grievances but still showed respect and wouldn't let her go hungry or cold.

Today's Nathalie treated her like an enemy, eager to see her in the worst light possible.

"Nathalie, I know about Nathan's

death. You blame me and Greta. I'm

sorry, I didn't realize he was so

important to you. If I could turn back time, I'd never have done anything to

hurt Nathan," Miranda began to plead.

Nathalie looked at her coolly, "If you want to apologize, then go do it in the afterlife."

Miranda was dumbfounded.

"Are you really deciding never to forgive your mother?" Miranda's tears began to

fall.
