Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1474

Since the school organized the exam, the results came out pretty fast. By 2:30 in the afternoon, a teacher was already sticking up the rankings on the notice board. Fiona picked up a book, pretending to read, which had everyone around her doing double takes. When did Fiona become such a bookworm? Unbelievable!

But just three seconds later, Fiona whipped out her phone, opened a game, and with a quick tap of the confirm button, a little character on the screen parachuted out of a plane. Her fingers flew over the screen like she was born to do this. Her character snagged a gun and loaded it up in no time. She was on the hunt, and her aim was dead-on, hardly missing a shot. Before long, only a few players were left standing.

"Fiona, there's someone behind that tree up ahead on your right!" someone called out. Without missing a beat, Fiona squeezed the trigger, blasting right through the tree trunk and scoring a perfect headshot.

"Fiona, you rock! Let me join you next game!"

"I want in too!" chimed in another. And just like that, everyone wanted a piece of the action.

Suddenly, a message popped up on her phone, and her classmates quickly scattered, respecting her privacy by not peeking. Fiona opened the message to find Jackson asking what she fancied for dinner. Her fingers danced over the screen as she replied, "Barbecue." Jackson replied with a simple "Sounds good." Soon, the hallway buzzed with students chatting away. Fiona rubbed her ears, feeling a bit annoyed. They were just too loud.

"Here, try these noise-cancelling earbuds," Tyler offered, handing her a fresh pair of Bluetooth earbuds. Fiona thanked him and slipped them on. They were amazing. She could barely hear a thing from outside.

Meanwhile, the folks from Room 19 made sure not to disturb Fiona, closing the classroom door firmly behind them. Those nerds from other classes only cared about grades all day!

"Check this out! Tyler from Room 19 actually snagged first place this time!"

"Yeah, it's wild that Janet from Room 12 didn't make it to first. If Room 19 can come out on top, we must all be geniuses!"

"No way Tyler's number one," someone from Room 12 scoffed. Room 12 had always been the gold standard and they couldn't believe Room 19 could even compete. If it wasn't for Room 19's connections, the school would've booted them ages ago. They should be getting zeros, not perfect scores.

As these comments flew, the Room 12 class president strolled over to check the rankings. Sure enough, Room 12 was still the top class overall, but Tyler was indeed first individually.

The remarks didn't go unnoticed by Room 19. A bunch of fiery teenagers felt their anger rising with every insult, itching to go over and givenoveldrama

them a piece of their mind.

"Impossible!" The Room 12 class president fumed, glaring at Tyler who sat coolly

in the classroom. "You must've cheated in the exam!"

Shameless! Room 12 was full of it!

"Tyler, get out here!" The Room 12 president pointed accusingly. "What trick did you pull to cheat your way to the top?"

Tyler just couldn't be bothered, turning away, not even sparing a glance. Ignoring Room 12's president only added to his humiliation.

"I'm going straight to the teacher to report your cheating! You Room 19 folks are just failures, resorting to such low tactics."
