It was dark when I got back to the castle, and I was tired after a very fun day. Mom had left to go home, And Juliette and Gina went to where they lived.

I walked into our wing and opened the door to our place. I was surprised to see someone I had never seen before, scrambling around searching for something. "Who are you?" I say, and the woman freezes, slowly turning towards me.

'Be careful, and she smells like a rouge.' Lily says in my head.

'Call for Lucian and Noah.' I tell Lily back, knowing she can connect with Lucian.

"I said, who are you?" I ask again.

"Just a maid, your highness." That gave her away, and I was still not crowned and, therefore, should not yet be called Your Highness.

"Why are you searching in my mates' desk? I ask.

"The king asked me to fetch something for him." She says so nervously it's clear she is lying.

'They are coming.' Lily says in my head. And I relax, knowing Noah will be here

soon.

"Do not lie to me, and he would have told me," I say, and her behavior changes.

"Where are they?" She sneers at me, and I have no idea what she is talking about.

"I don't know what you mean," I say as I am staying by the door.

"The books, scrolls. Where are they." She is sneering like a pissed-off wolf. "They are not here," I say calmly, and she slowly moves closer.

She sneers again and growls at me, and I see the slow shift she does into her wolf. I am about to tell her not to do it when the door opens, and Lucian stands in his big Lycan form. He growled dangerously as he moved to stand in the middle of

us.

The rouge started whining, and I realized he was casting his aura on her, making her bend to him. He stood there looking at the whining rouge when I heard running footsteps. Logan, Olivia, and Enzo all came rushing into our apartment.

Olivia rushed to me, checking me over, but I assured her that I was not hurt, and she relaxed a little.

The rouge was bending under the power of Lucians' aura, and she was in no way able to move away. And Lucian, who was furious, stood there baring his canines, growling.

"What are you doing here? How dare you enter my home and treat my mate?" Lucian growled.

"The rouge king, the only real king, wants scrolls and the books. He can change our world, make it safe." The rouge said under the influence of the aura.

"Your king is nothing but a liar. And power-hungry wolf who thinks he should have more than life has given him. His plans will ruin the world." Lucian laughed darkly.

"You lying!" The rouge screams.

"No, I am not. It is you who will be because of greed and lies." Noah's voice says as Lucian finally gives him back control and shifts back to human form.

The rouge didn't even answer but just screamed at him. But Noah did not care and he turned around and walked over to me and Olivia. He thanked his mom and took me into his arms, hugging me tight

"I am so sorry. I will put some warriors in to watch this corridor of the castle. You

won't be left unprotected again.” Noah says, sounding full of regret.

"It was not your fault that she found a way in," I assure him as I give him a kiss. And he holds me closer.

NOAH

Fear and pure red murderous anger hit me when Lily, Madeleine's wolf, connected to Lucian and me. All I could think of was to get there and fast. I had been with Dad and Enzo when the mindlink reached me. Dad must have mindlinked Mom because she was there when they

stormed into our apartment.

Everyone had left now, and Dad had taken the rouge away, and she wouldn't live another day.noveldrama

Madeleine came over to me as I sat in a chair and closed my eyes. I was mad, mostly at myself, because once again, my mate had been in danger.

"Look at me, please." She whispers as she sits on my lap, and I do as she says.

"I am okay, nothing happened." She says, and I nod my head.

"It was smart to use Lily to contact us," I tell her, and she smiles.

"I didn't want her to know I asked for help." She says, and I kiss her.

She kisses me back, and I pull her closer to me. With the thought of her in danger

or the chance of losing her makes me crazy.

"You're mine," I growl as I kiss her down her neck and nip on the skin.

"Yes, I am your, only yours." She moans softly.

That's all I need to hear from her. I pull up the skirt of her dress, and she works on opening my jeans. Working together, my jeans and boxers were pushed down, and I ripped her panties apart.

But just as I am about to lift her onto

me, she stops me and slides down on the floor, standing on her knees. She looks up into my eyes as she begins stroking me with her hand and looks at me with hungry eyes. And I growl full of lust.
