“I never thought Miss Johnson would discover this studio, especially since it’s common knowledge that Mr. Morgan has always been a big fan of SAMSARA’s designs,” another voice said.

Melany felt a sense of pride as she overheard the conversation. The shoes in her hands were a rare, limited edition—almost impossible to find—and just as impressive as that brooch!

Colton still felt uneasy with Melany’s arm around him, especially with Allison watching. But, considering the business interests at stake and the many eyes on them, he kept his composure. He didn’t push Melany away in public.

“It’s good that you like them, Mr. Morgan,” he said, nodding. Although Colton didn’t directly respond to Melany’s comment, his silence led everyone to assume that he deserved the credit.

Melany felt pleased with how she handled the situation. She thought she had managed the man’s ego much better than Allison ever could. At the same time, the designer, who had been waiting outside, was ushered in by the waiter.
