I watched him as he spoke, but he didn’t waver, he kept his eyes on me and even looked bored. I must have been reading too much into what he said. “Fine, I will go back to Summer Strand. I chuckled, we were getting along very well lately, and I wanted to keep it that way. The man was busy trying to build a father daughter relationship with my mother and my father is dead. All I have now is Luke and I wouldn’t want us to be on bad terms again.

“I really do love her, you know.” I suddenly sald, I needed him to know that what I was doing was not to hurt Olivia but to get her back with me so we could be happy together, just as we were back then. “I know you do son but let her go and if it happens that she comes back to you then it would be meant to be. For now, let her live her life the way she wants to.”
