My Stand-In Groom Is A Secret Tycoon (Audrey)

Chapter 391

Sunny was thrilled. He couldn't wait to dash to the study, like a proud little

peacock, showing off his new clothes to Alistair.

Alistair, annoyed by Sunny's boastful behavior, promptly shooed Sunny out of the study.

The dinner was scheduled for the afternoon, still five or six hours away.

Audrey thought about the bracelet she received from Evelyn and decided it was time to return the favor.

So, while Alistair was busy with work, Audrey took Sunny out shopping.

But once outside, Audrey couldn't help but feel a bit troubled. She asked, "Sunny, do you know what Grandma likes?"

Sunny blinked slowly as if he was deep in thought. He thought, 'Grandma likes so many things. How should I say it?'

After thinking for a while, Sunny raised his wrist with his smartwatch, tapped the screen, and showed Audrey some elegant vases, antique paintings, and calligraphy collections.

Audrey caught on. She said, "Do you mean Grandma likes collecting these antiques?"

Sunny's eyes lit up. He nodded eagerly as if saying, "Mom, you are so smart."

Audrey laughed. She raised her hand triumphantly like she was ready to charge forward and exclaimed, "Then I know where to go to buy gifts. Let's go!"

Twenty minutes later, Audrey and Sunny arrived at the biggest antique market in town.

Sunny was dressed in new clothes, while Audrey casually wore some laid-back attire. She looked like she was passing by for some window shopping, not explicitly coming to a treasure hunt at the antique market.

That was why most of the vendors on the antique street didn't pay attention to them, and sometimes, a few would give them disdainful looks.

Audrey held Sunny's hand and calmly walked through the various stares. None of these shops had what she was searching for.

Choosing antiques was all about which one caught one's eye. Audrey wasn't sure what she wanted, so she went for what she liked at first glance.

Audrey hadn't chosen anything as they were about to reach the end of the antique street. Then, they came to a quiet shop around the corner.

The shopkeeper was lounging comfortably on a small chair at the entrance, eyes half-closed, enjoying the sun. He didn't get up when he heard footsteps.

He casually said, "If you're interested, feel free to come in and take a look. It's just

a small business, but it's completely honest."

He was the only shop owner they met along the way who didn't judge them by their looks first.

Audrey led Sunny into the shop.

As soon as they stepped inside, the shopkeeper followed them in. He was waving a fan and wearing a navy blue tank top. He looked quite young As soon as Alex saw Audrey

them.

He said, "I should've known when those magpies wouldn't stop chattering in front of my house this morning. The visit was from an angel and a celestial child. With such grace, I'll give you a 20% discount on whatever you choose today"

Hearing the shopkeeper's playful words, Audrey couldn't help but chuckle. She felt she had chosen the right store.

With a cheerful grin, the shopkeeper asked, "What are you looking to buy, my little angel?"

Audrey looked around the store. She softly replied, "I need a gift for the elders at home. Would you mind recommending something for me?"noveldrama

"Of course I can. It's my honor to assist you," the shopkeeper replied with a smile. Then he quickly led Audrey to some items on the shelf.

He introduced, "Take a look at this crystal decoration, grand and entirely made of pink crystal, beautiful and impressive. Do you like it?"

Audrey took a close look and gently shook her head. She said, "I haven't seen how the elder's home is decorated, so I'm not sure if it would fit."

"Well, I see," the shopkeeper replied. He eagerly recommended several other antiques.

Audrey still felt something wasn't quite right until she noticed that

Sunny's gaze was fixed on

something. Following his gaze, Audrey saw an exquisitely beautiful screen.
