My Dady BR 385
Chapter 385 Was Leah Wrong?
"But as much as I blamed myself, I couldn't stop wondering: Was Leah really wrong?

"Yes, I was overwhelmed with so many emotions-shock and the kind of faith- crushing confusion that makes you question everything. I didn't know where I stood or what to believe. But Leah, when everyone was forcing Robin to admit her guilt, when they were all pushing her to confess, was the one who struck the final blow."
Zayn's face was a whirlwind of complicated emotions. "If Leah were truly kind- hearted, if she really cared about Robin, she wouldn't have said those words. She should have waited for the hospital and the police to investigate, but instead, with one careless word, she did what the Whites would do-she condemned Robin as guilty!"
"I know I should have chosen to stand by Leah with no questions asked, forgive her small mistakes like Mom and Grandma did, but I couldn't convince myself!"
At that moment, Zayn looked up, his face filled with confusion as he asked, "Jonah, did I wrongfully blame Leah, or did she really do something wrong?"
Jonah stared at Zayn, watching his emotional turmoil, and then locked eyes with him. For a moment, Jonah was lost in thought.
Though the brothers didn't resemble each other much, in that, moment, Jonah felt as if someone else had appeared before him, someone who hadn't been seen in years, whose fate was still unknown-Milo.
For a split second, Jonah gasped in surprise.
What is happening?
After a long pause, Jonah finally spoke, his voice steady but gentle.
"Zayn, you're right. It was Leah who made a mistake. Mom and Dad, they care
too much about her, and they couldn't bear to blame her."
At that, Zayn visibly relaxed.
He let out a relieved laugh. "Thank you, Jonah."
Jonah raised his hand, placing it firmly on Zayn's shoulder, a weight of
reassurance.
"We may be siblings, always ready to help and trust one another, but there are times when we need to distinguish right from wrong, not just blindly offer forgiveness. You have your boundaries, Zayn. I understand that.
"If you're struggling with this, maybe you should apologize to Dr. Robin. It might help you feel better."
With Jonah's encouragement, Zayn felt a renewed sense of confidence and resolve.
He nodded firmly. "Okay!"
After their conversation, the brothers got into their cars and left the parking lot.
Unbeknownst to them, in a corner, Leah, who had been looking for an excuse to follow them, stepped out from the shadows. Her expression was dark as she watched their cars leave one after the other, a cold gleam

Leah instantly changed her expression, turning to Olympia with a smile. "Zayn went out. I apologized to him, and he said he forgave me. He's not mad at me anymore."
"Really?"
Olympia let out a breath of relief and smiled, but when she glanced at Leah again, something seemed off.
Though Leah was smiling, it looked forced.
Olympia's expression hardened. "Leah, are you lying to me?"
Leah's face flickered with panic as she quickly looked away. "Mom, I'm not."
Olympia gently cupped Leah's face, her fingers brushing against the moist corner
of her eyes as Leah struggled to maintain her smile.
Her heart ached. "If Zayn forgave you, why are you crying?"
Leah trembled, and the tears began to fall again, uncontrollable.
In an instant, she threw herself into Olympia's arms, sobbing like a child who had been denied a treat. "Mom, does Zayn hate me? Will he never like me again?"
"Don't be ridiculous! Zayn loves you so much. He always thinks of you first. How could he stop liking you?"
Olympia, hearing her daughter's frustrated sobs, felt her chest grow heavy, her shirt soaked with Leah'snoveldrama

No matter how capable Robin was, she was still an outsider-how could he make things difficult on his sister for the sake of an outsider?
"Zayn's just confused right now. Don't worry about him. Once he figures it out, things will be fine!"
"Really?"
"Of course! No matter how great Robin is, he's still an outsider. You're his sister, and we're family!"
Olympia gently wiped the tears from Leah's face, pretending to scold her. "If Zayn still holds this against you, I'll have a good talk with him. What kind of brother doesn't know who to support?"
