Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1654

"Fiona, have you lost your mind? Why on earth did you throw my desk and chair out the window? This is the third floor! You better get them back up here, or I won't let this go."

Fiona just shrugged her off, shaking her hand free, and calmly returned to her desk.

Seeing Fiona's indifference, the girl plunked herself down on the floor and started bawling. After all, Fiona's reputation was already notorious, and since she had started this mess, who else would take the blame?

No one jumped in to comfort her. Fiona's actions had left everyone stunned, even the boys quit horsing around to watch the drama unfold.

"Fiona, you better bring my desk and chair back pronto. Class is about to start, and if you don't, I'll tell the teacher it was you who tossed them. Let's see how you talk your way out of that!"

"Oh, go ahead," Fiona replied, her smile icy.

She used to avoid making waves and preferred not to argue, believing that the truth would come out eventually. But now her perspective had shifted.

Her reputation was already shot; a bit more damage wouldn't make a difference.

"You're really something else, scheming to push Yvette out, and now doing this to me. Trying to get rid of me too? If it weren't for the Woods family backing you, you'd have been kicked out of Westbrook High ages ago. You think you're all that, don't you? Let me tell you, you're just disgusting, using your body to get what you want!"

Fiona stood up slowly, deliberately, and slapped the girl hard across the face, drawing a thin line of blood from her lips.

Say what you want about her reputation or supposed malice, but she wouldn't stand for anyone bad-mouthing Jackson.

He was her brother, and no filthy words should ever be associated with him.noveldrama

Compared to what she felt, this slap was nothing.

"You keep telling me to apologize to

Yvette, is she your dad or your mom? Why are you sucking up to her? How much did she pay you, or what did she promise to make you defend her like this? The firsttime she fell down the stairs had nothing to do with me. This time, she came looking for trouble before class

ended; the whole class saw it. She provoked me, and I only pushed her. I didn't force her hand onto that nail. Maybe you've got an eye problem; better get that checked before it gets worse."

She pushed the girl aside and settled back into her seat without another word.

Truth be told, everyone in class knew this wasn't Fiona's fault. They couldn't figure out how Yvette had hurt her hand.

"You think a few words can fool everyone? Let me tell you, not a chance! Everyone can see the truth."

The girl glanced around, but no one backed her up.

"Fiona's got a point. This time, it really isn't her fault."

"Yeah, and it was a study period. Why couldn't she wait until after class to say whatever she needed

to? Who knows what game she was playing."

"Maybe it was just an accident this time."

As class was about to start, Fiona got a message from Jackson and a location pin

from Tyler.

She glanced back at Tyler, flashing a rare smile.

Tyler had really stepped up. He'd learned to think on his feet and take action.

All Fiona had done was casually

velhet

mention that Yvette seemed and Tyler went the extra mile, tracking her and digging up such useful info.

Fiona opened the location Tyler sent and was surprised to find it near the island

where Jackson and Zoe had their wedding.
