Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1575

**Head-to-Head Clash!**

As she spoke, she unwrapped a candy and popped it into her mouth. "Getting caught off guard here was a surprise for me, but Ms. Fiona, let's get one thing straight. To Jackson, you're just a shiny new toy. Once he loses interest, do you really think you'll have any power left to fight against me?"noveldrama

Christina clenched her fists tightly. She had planned to teach Fiona a lesson today, but it seemed she had only managed to shoot herself in the foot. How was she supposed to swallow this indignity? Even though she'd moved on from Allen, she refused to believe she couldn't handle a mere high school girl. She had been in the entertainment industry for years, and she hadn't been just coasting along! In a few days, she would make sure that brat understood the consequences of crossing her!

Fiona barely paid any attention, leaning casually against the doorframe. She lazily accepted a drink from a waiter, chuckling softly, "It's already dark, and the driver you hired is off the clock. Are you planning to spend the night here? If so, let me kindly inform you that there are no rooms available tonight."

Only when Christina turned around did she realize there was no one behind her. She stomped her foot in frustration. She had snuck over and couldn't use her own car, so she had hired one instead, not realizing the time had run out. "Who'd want to stay in this godforsaken place!" She bit her lip furiously, vowing to take Fiona down another day!

Watching Christina leave in a huff, Fiona leisurely finished her drink, then opened her phone and headed toward her room. There were two new messages at the top of her chat list. They were from Tyler.

Tyler: I want a part-time job to earn some money.

Tyler: I've taken a week off.

Fiona casually sent back a question mark, puzzled over what Tyler was up to. With no immediate reply, Fiona didn't dwell on it and settled down in the dining hall, where everyone was having dinner. For some reason, Patricia was seated next to Keaton, while the other classmates had formed their own table groups. Fiona chose a table by herself, fetched her meal, and sat by the window. After a moment, a girl from her dorm approached. "Is anyone sitting here?"

"No."

"Can I sit here?"

"I'm not in the habit of eating with others."

Fiona didn't raise her eyes, her gaze full of indifference. The girl stood awkwardly, unsure whether to sit or leave, feeling at a loss. "Anything else?" Fiona asked, placing a piece of sweet and sour ribs in her mouth and looking up slightly, "Do you enjoy watching others eat?"

"So... sorry!" The girl stumbled back a couple of steps, "I just wanted to chat." Having taken a few bites, Fiona stood up, tidied her meal, and headed straight back to her room.

Behind her, voices erupted in complaint. "Fiona's got issues!"

"How rude can she be? Was it wrong for someone to talk to her? Never seen such an idiot!"

"I never thought Fiona was so awful! Now I see, appearances can be deceiving!"

The girl moved to the most crowded area, covering her tearful eyes, "Please don't say that. She's not like this! She must just be in a bad mood."
