She gestured towards the empty desk with a mocking smile. "Since I walked in, have I had the chance to look at your case file? Or are you hiding something, Christina?"

Did they really think she hadn't picked up on what was going on? From the get- go, Christina had been trying to keep her from understanding Allen's condition, and even now, she continued to question Fiona's identity.

Christina gritted her teeth, her gaze dark and cautious, a flicker of panic quickly hidden.
